About the boosters

About Us

The Central Square Music Boosters supports every student who makes music at Central Square, across seven performing groups.

Our mission

To give every Central Square student the means to take part in music and the marching arts, whatever their family's circumstances, by funding the instruments, instruction, uniforms and travel that make participation possible.

Our vision

A music program where cost is never the reason a student stops playing, and where every group has the staff, equipment and community support it needs to do its best work.

What We Do

  • Fund instruments and equipment

Purchase, repair and replacement of instruments and equipment across all seven groups.

  • Cover travel and entry fees

Transport, competition entry and related costs through the competitive season.

  • Support instructional staff

Technicians and clinicians who work with students alongside the district's directors.

  • Organize the volunteers

Concessions, uniforms, chaperoning and load-in crew - the work that makes each event happen.

Our History

The boosters grew from a small group of parents into the organization that now supports all seven performing groups. The founding date and early history are still being compiled.
